Darren and Minako Polischuk have always felt called to help the marginalized in Cambodia. They have been visiting Cambodia yearly since 2005 and have moved there as of January 2015. They work largely with the marginalized poor, some who scavenge in the garbage dump, in hopes that they wil not succumb to risky undignified work such as selling themselves or their children to brothels. It is there desire, through the development of international relationships, to provide hope and show God's love to these people. They also create work initiatives through vocational training, leadership development, sustainable resorting and family support. It is their hope that together they can help make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable.
Darren and Minako have been a part of the Foothills family since 1995 and they have 3 wonderful adult children: Mike, Sean and their new daughter-in-law Christina.
