Disciple Making @ Foothills

Jesus’ final words to His followers, before returning to His Father in heaven, are known as the Great Commission. He said … “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

At Foothills Alliance we are developing a culture of obedience to the Great Commission expressed in a commitment to make disciples that make disciples. A disciple is a follower of Jesus who imitates the life of Jesus in all they do and lives as salt and light in a world that desperately needs to experience the love of God in a personal way.

• It is our desire to lead people in their spiritual journey to encounter Jesus personally and embrace faith in Him.

• It is our commitment to ensure new followers of Jesus are established in their faith through being partnered with a mature follower of Jesus.

• It is our practice to express our faith in living a life of obedience to Jesus; following the example He left us to spiritually reproduce.

If you would like more information about what it means to be grounded in your faith, or to become a multiplying disciple, please contact Pastor Tim Beadle, Pastor of Disciple Making.
